There are some color combinations that I just can't help LOVING... pink and green is a contender for the top of this list!! It is challenging to make this color combo feel sophisticated at times so playing with the hues (soft pink with dark green) and adding shots of edge (zebra rug) helps to calm the combo.

I never thought one my most most fun but most challenging projects would be our basement! After some water crept in their earlier this year we took the dreaded plunge and waterproofed the heck out of it! The basement is/was my hubbie's hangout and although it was finished, it need a bit of a facelift... The construction is done and now on to the fun part... decorating! Below is my initial collection of thoughts-- think hunting lodge on estrogen (don't tell Rob I said that).

I knew I wanted a bold green for the living room and "julep" by Sherwin Williams was the perfect choice. Time to get ready for the races... dress, check... hat, check...pearls, check...Now all I need to do is find some bourbon, mint and simple syrup before post time tonight!
Here at Diff Miller Style & Design we love a good brunch... and an Easter brunch is even more egg-cellent! (ok, ok, Easter puns are officially retired till next year!) Anyway, we're always scouring the globe for cute accoutrements to kick up our brunch game and stumbled upon Hattan Home! It's the perfectly curated assortment of must have "treats for your home." After all, I do have a soft spot in my heart for ManHATTAN girls after living in Soho and the West Village for 10 years myself.
Being an identical twin, I HAD to pick up the "Seeing Double" zebra cocktail napkins. The fact that they came perfectly wrapped in a great box with a grosgrain ribbon was the icing on the cake! After playing on their website for just a few short minutes I added a few finials to the shopping cart. I'm obsessed with finials right now and I can't wait to add a few pops of spring to some vintage lamps! Check out their amazing treats below!
